Did you ever see a creeping hair?

A 19 month old girl was referred to our hospital with a suspicion of larva migrans. Her parents had observed a lesion at the sole of her left foot that had changed position. The lesion appeared the evening after playing on the lawn in a public park near a fountain and a small pond on a hot day. The lesion did not seem painful or itchy, and did not hindering walking. There were no associated symptoms. The child had not travelled outside Switzerland.
